Meadowfoam Carrier Oil has superior moisturizing and rejuvenating properties and is commonly used in cosmetics and skin care products. This carrier oil has mild ultraviolet (UV) protection properties and is a key ingredient in products like suntan lotion. It’s also useful in body lotions, hand/facial creams, hair and scalp products, cuticle repair cream, foundations and face powders, lipsticks, shampoos, shaving cream, and various balms. This carrier has a shelf life of two years if stored properly in a cool place, out of direct sunlight. Refrigeration is not necessary.
