Avocado Carrier Oil is cold pressed and refined from the pulp of the avocado fruit. Rich in vitamins A, B, D, E, and Beta carotene, this oil is excellent for skin and hair applications. It is a deeply penetrating monounsaturated oil and is best suited for very dry, mature, irritated, or sun-damaged skin and hair. Use a small amount (5-10%) in other carrier oils to enrich vitamin content and give DIY soaps, lotions, and creams an extra boost of nourishment. This carrier has a shelf life of one year if stored properly in a cool place, out of direct sunlight. Refrigerate after opening.
Avocado Carrier Oil is effective for:
- Dry, mature, irritated, sun-damaged hair and skin
- Enriching other carrier oils with extra vitamins
- Soaps, lotions, and creams
- DIY essential oil projects
